St. John's offers a wide variety of opportunities for students to express themselves through the arts. 

The art and music departments are directed by young, energetic teachers who are creative and enthusiastic. 

Students experience a full curriculum of music and are offered the opportunity to participate in concert band or jazz band, guitar club and to showcase their musical talents at school liturgies, the band concert and other times throughout the year.

The art program also offers a full curriculum and hands-on experiences in many media including the use of an in-house kiln.  Students work with the art director to build sets for the drama club, they showcase their artistic talents at the annual art show.  Classroom experiences are supported with an annual trip to a professional art studio where students have the opportunity to experience hands-on activities such as raku pottery, stone carving, metal sculpture, and black and white photography among others.
