Shorts may be worn beginning April 1! Let's see if our weather is spring-like!
Fourth graders are beginning their state reports!
Safety Fair is coming on April 12 from 10-12 in the gym/cafeteria/lower parking lot - featuring ways to help keep your children (preschool-fourth grade) safe with bike helmets for sale, Mr. McGruff teaching fire safety, healthy snacks (made on site), outdoor activities (working on the nature deficit), gun safety, poison control and more! Come join us for a fun, hands-on opportunity!
Minnetonka Center for the Arts was the destination of our 6th through 8th grade March 28th. Students participated in pottery, photography, sculpture, glass making and much more. Thanks goes to Mr. Berger for setting up this day!
Hats were everywhere in the 5th and 6th grade on March 27! Students received a free hat day coupon from teachers for Christmas. Refer to the Principal Bulletin on April 3 for a photo.
The Third Grade Girl Scouts, 15 in all, helped lower the large flag they donated for a photo opportunity on Thursday. Thank you for a much needed and wonderful donation, see your Thursday folder on April 3 for a photo.
5th graders will participate in A Human Sexuality Retreat Monday, March 31st from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in St. Joseph's Hall. This series is for Mothers/Daughters and Fathers/Sons. The curriculum is based on Catholic doctrine specific to this subject.
St. John the Baptist swimmers are busy winning ribbons during the CAA City Swim Team Preliminary and Championship events held March 29-31. Please congratulate our swimmers on great season!
A couple of topics that have come up from parents over the last year that I would love to hear from you about:
1. Healthy snack - I still hear from many parents that they are in favor of this. However - what's your opinion?
2. Ways to improve communication from school
