St. John's has an Open Enrollment Policy for any child who desires to attend the school and is five years old by September 1 of their first year of kindergarten. Students wishing to come into grades 1-8 may be admitted after a review of report card and test scores and an interview with the school principal.
Non-Discrimination Clause: The school admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, priveleges, programs and activities generally accorded to, or made available to all students. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of our education and admission policies, scholarship and loan programs and athletic or other school administered programs.
Any child is eligible to attend St. John's based on the ability of the school to meet the needs of the individual child as well as the needs of the school community as a whole.

What are the Admission Procedures? 1. During the formal registration period, students will be accepted in the following order:
A. Children of families currently part of the St. John the Baptist School community;
B. Children of parishioners who previously had children in St. John the Baptist School;
C. Children of active St. John the Baptist parishioners;
D. Children of non-parishioners
2. After the formal registration period, students will be accepted by the date registration forms and fees were received.
3. Waiting lists are established when grades are filled.
4. Interested families with students in grades 4-8 are encouraged to visit the school, spend time in the classroom, explore the curriculum and meet students and teachers. Back to Top
When is the formal registration period? Registration is opened for current families in mid-January.
An open meeting is conducted in mid-January for interested kindergarten families.

What is the tuition? Parishioner half-day kindergarten - $2050.
Parishioner full-day kindergarten and grades 1-8 - $3170.
Non-parishioner half-day kindergarten - $2850.
Non-parishioner full-day kindergarten and grades 1-8 - $4500.

Are there other financial obligations in addition to tuition and fees? Registration Fee - $100 new students only.
There are two mandatory major fundraisers at St. John's. The Non-Public School Marathon in the fall where each student collects a minimum of $100 in pledges and the Write-A-Check in the spring where each family contributes $35 per student.
School fee - $100 per student.
Technology fee - $100 per student.
Volunteer obligation - 20 hours or $100 per family

Is financial aid available? Financial aid is available to qualified families. An outside agency, Tuition Aid Data Services, assists the school in determining eligibility based on income, expenses, savings, debt and special circumstances. Applications are available on request. Back to Top
How can I pay tuition and fees? Tuition may be paid in the following manner:
An annual payment with a check or credit card.
A semi-annual payment with a check or credit card.
Monthly automatic checking account withdrawal.

Is transportation available? Free busing is provided for students within District 621 boundaries living more than 2 miles from school

Is lunch available at school? Milk can be purchased for $.45 a carton
Lunches can be purchased for $2.00
Individual student debit accounts are maintained.
